This juvenile Seaside Sparrow was recently fledged and was still a bit uncooridinated in its efforts to move through the dense reedbeds, frequently losing its balance.
Males stake out their territories from prominant perches. This one was leaning further and further back as its singing got more and more enthusiastic. By the end it was leaning so far back I was convinced it was about to fall off its perch!
